Ljubljana, 25 February 2014: Today, Metod Dragonja took over the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. Namely, on 24 February 2014 Metod Dragonja was appointed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia as the Minister of Economic Development and Technology. The duties of the Ministry were handed over to the new Minister by Uroš Čufer, D.Sc. who temporarily took over the Ministry on 11 December 2013. The Ministers discussed briefly the work of the Ministry in the past three months and met with some of the colleagues, working at the Ministry. Minister Metod Dragonja underlined that he is taking over the Ministry with moderate optimism and that he and his colleagues will strive to improve the economic dynamics. During the day, the Minister will meet with Director-Generals of the Directorates and Heads of individual Divisions to discuss future work.
