The proposed acts seek to enable consumers and providers from different areas the possibility for the rapid, financially viable, simple and effective out-of-court resolution of domestic and international consumer disputes (DICD) regarding physical and web retail outlets. Establishing the necessary infrastructure for DICD will improve the legal protection of providers and consumers, which may raise operating costs for providers, but will improve consumer trust, so this method of resolution may become a competitive advantage for providers in the market. The measure is expected to gradually help reduce the number of such cases heard in regular courts, thereby reducing their workload.
